I bought this cassette tape at a thrift store for 50 cents a couple years ago. Bought it cuz it looked nuts, figured it was part of some 80s Wall Street-Art of War-ass trend.
It's actually pretty good.
While we're at it, this is good too. (It's only written by arguably "the greatest Samurai of all time.")
Listen to alot of spoken word, audio books, or talk radio while drawing sometimes. Kinda keeps that side of the brain occupied?
This is exceptional, but his always are (IMO - And I don't care what anyone says - he's fuckin' real, man. He's fuckin' real).

I uncovered this midi collection compiled circa 97-98 through blood and sweat. This is the GOLDEN STASH of MIDIS, only the BEST OF THE BEST - (well, to me - having spent countless hours, days, and weeks sifting through the dreck, the out-of-time, and the off-key) for the RIGHTEOUS (as in RIGHTEOUSLY KILL YOU with MIDI!)
About Midis
When the internet was somewhat new (to most of us), circa '96-'98, even somewhat til 2000-ish, midis (.midi or .mid audio files, often no bigger than a tenth of the modern mp3 if even a thousandth) were THE internet musical artform. Background music of what YOU would call music today would never load thru a 28- or 56-K modem, and if you tried to pull that, the person going to your pink and green Geocities (if you were classy) homepage with all those cool animated clown and balloon .GIFs would hit the Back button so fast they wouldn't even get to find out it was your cat's birthday (3 years ago - the last time you updated anything beside your awesome MIDI bg music!)
So, you weren't COOL, unless you had a BADASS MIDI.
Well, midis were always seen as kind of stupid, and something only slightly insane housewives in the remote Rockies used on their websites anyway (who taught them how to make websites?), which made them even cooler.
But what do you care about all this historical CRAP?! You want MIDIIIIIII!!!!!
Thank you to all the marvelous 90s geniuses who made these midis, sometimes by transcribing music into programs such as Noteworthy Composer (2.0 forever!) and others who were awesome enough at keyboard to record these. God Bless them!
These songs play on Media Player and Winamp, which means, if you're like me, you will make a playlist, set it to random, hook up a tapedeck, and make some mixtapes to totally blast out of car windows, and beat the living crap out of people to.
