The Gathering Storm - Book 12 of the Wheel of Time review

    I wasn't expecting it to be that awesome, if at all. Brandon Sanderson had alot of pressure to take on the task and I honestly didn't think anyone could, but he rocked it.


    Brandon Sanderson did a seamless job (I feel like I would have noticed an unnatural feel for the guest co-writer cuz I've reread them from the prequel to the end of book 11 back to back over the past year to lead up to this). With all the subtleties and maybe a hundred or more minor and major characters, all the sub-plots, details, clues, I can't believe someone could do such a great job, but it's been done.


    Exciting from cover to cover, lots of well-written scenes, phrases and action, cool characters doing their duty, emotionally moving pages, funny bits, some REALLY good death scenes. Lots of Rand, too.


    Enjoyed it immensely. Couldn't put it down. Wish I could read the next book right now. That's why I wrote this is because I was worried I'd have to wait a couple more years for the next installment, but just checked and saw the release date for book 13 is slated for this year (fall), so got stoked and posted the above.
